can i say about the reiki retreat? can i just say i loved everything?
because i did. loved. everything. the place, the people, the workshops,
the food, the kind and loving way people made room and held space
for each other, the heartful sharings, the welcoming smiles, feeling
warmly embraced, experiencing each person's unique way of living
reiki, looking at my own way of living reiki through new eyes, the
synchronicities, the laughter, the vegan cupcakes, exploring the
familiar in unfamiliar ways, beginning new friendships and deepening
old ones, feeling with gratitude, rediscovering ancient wisdom,
surrendering gently, gifts shared freely, the way each moment unfolded
so gracefully and organically into the next, how we could have meticulously
planned the whole thing out but didn't, playfully communing with
community, finding new ways to access the wisdom within, being inspired!

| 'I went to the reiki retreat and all I got was this lousy rock. Haha just kidding! It was fun to play and explore during the different workshops. Me and my girlfriend blast our shaman drum cd and do journeys together with reiki now; a cool new thing that we were looking forward to do. And I must say that the cupcakes were awesome! This year’s topics included reiki, shamanism and crystal therapy. We shared a gorgeous meal and lovely homemade cupcakes for dessert, and we each brought a gift to exchange. I learned a lot, and enjoyed the company of some familiar as well as some new faces. Our fellow animal creatures need us to protect them, and it made me feel part of something sincere and meaningful.
