WORKSHOP:
BRINGING REIKI INTO OUR LIFE'S WORK centering and connecting with the infinite through breath and movement this workshop explores one of our natural states of being - honoring our hearts and their authentic, unique teachings. we will explore our own body's ability to discover more of our infinite potential through linking reiki and breath, learning a simple daily unity practice for connection with the physical, emotional, spiritual body, and quieting the chatter of the 'monkey mind.' through learning to access our physical selves in postures that connect us with our higher selves, we will take one step closer to trusting our own gifts. |

WORKSHOP:
REIKI & ENERGY CENTERS healing through the chakra systems come practice using your reiki hand positions in conjunction with the major (and one minor) chakras of the body to promote balance and healing for your self, or another. this workshop is an outgrowth of tracy's daily hour-long meditations on the chakra system, and includes simple descriptions of the chakras, chakra balancing exercises and and fun partner practice. |

WORKSHOP:
SHAMANISM & REIKI healing through shamanic journeying as with reiki, a shamanic healer is the conduit, or “hollow bone,” through which spirit works. most shamanic healing is done while in an altered state, or trance, usually induced by drumming. while in trance, the practitioner journeys to non-ordinary reality to connect with helping spirits, which may be in animal, human, or other form. in this workshop, you will be initiated into shamanic journeying and connect directly with one of your helping spirits. you will also have the opportunity to journey while receiving or giving reiki. |

HARPER, reiki master the inner voyage greg harper is a shamanic practitioner, reiki master-teacher, certified clinical hypnotherapist, and EFT practitioner. he has advanced training in shamanism from the foundation for shamanic studies and the four winds society. greg leads a monthly drum circle at HCH institute in lafayette, CA, and has performed shamanic healings for staff at the omega institute. greg holds a PhD from the university of california at berkeley, and was a geology professor for many years with more than 60 research publications. visit him online here. |

WORKSHOP:
REIKI & THE WRITING ARTS reiki as a catalyst for inner knowing & self expression writing is reiki, so the swifter we move out of our own way, the more likely we are to access what is raw and genuine. through short exercises and a mini-self treatment, we'll sense what emerges and how to trust it, whether it be an increment of sound or the beginning of a play! through allowing, rather than insisting, we document our beautiful stumblings. this will be a generative session, so please bring your notebooks. at the end of the period, we'll give our writing projects - past, present and future - a grand blessing. |

INTUITIVE SOUND HEALING & REIKI exploration of reiki & sound as a pathway to healing join medical intuitive kim english for an hour of intuitive sound healing and reiki. this experiential workshop is an informal and fun introduction to sound and sound healing with reiki as a pathway to self-love. drawing on kim's extensive background in vibrational and energetic healing modalities, we will explore how sound impacts the physical and energy bodies through experience of native american flute, deva’s gift singing bowls, and balancing with chakra sounds. |

WHAT
WAS THE OTTER STORY? it began when my teachers sent me vivid dreams of river otter, hours spent splashing and playing with them. curious, I learned about otter, as they showed up everywhere, literally riding atop yellow cabs as four foot otter models. (!) long story short, otter has come to me again and again...most recently at green gulch to place the retreat. we set foot in the yurt and my guide turned to me and said out of the blue, 'did you know we have a family of river otter and her cubs here?' (laughter) spirit couldn't speak more loudly than that! in native teachings, otter embodies playfulness, and is a model of how we can nourish and care for each other - exactly the spirit of the retreat. |
