HEALTHY BOUNDARIES I’m very honored to play in the reiki river with you! (smile) one of the interesting things about reiki is how it brings us together in exactly the right way at exactly the right time – each class is unique, and amazing.

before class, I'll email confirmation of date, time and location to enrolled students. I’ll be ready to open the door fifteen minutes before we officially begin, and really encourage you to arrive early, to get situated and comfortable, and so we start on time. after your class, please allow time to be gentle and loving with yourself - expect that you might want rest time after our class meetings.

from my years of teaching reiki, I've observed that the folks who are drawn to healing practices tend to be sensitive, empathic, and intuitive. these are wonderful gifts, and can also make walking through the world very challenging.

I'd really like to see healthy boundaries being taught in preschool (chuckle) - imagine being able to walk through the world knowing what we want (and don't want), how to express ourselves and release old patterns around 'looking good' or 'being nice,' and how to clearly articulate and enforce our boundaries physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically - woohoo! these are great skills to have as healers, and as humans.

the healthy boundaries class includes:

- answering a set of emailed questions before class to clearly identify where you're at
-
what boundaries really are, your experience with them, and where you'd like to grow
- practice saying 'no' in trigger situations (this gets easier with practice...really!)
- hypnotically anchor a state of non-attachment for future times when you need to set healthy boundaries for yourself without feeling 'guilty' or 'bad'
- practice techniques in small groups for each learning style: kinesthetic, audio, visual, and energetic
- support the process with reiki (of course!)

things to bring to class:

1. your class payment in an envelope, check or cash (preferred)

2. comfortable clothes to play in, a water bottle to stay hydrated, a journal

3. healthy, happy-making snacks to keep you going through the day (sharing is fun!)

4. a plan for our hour lunch break both days (bring food, find a restaurant, etc)

we will enjoy a day of laughter, sharing stories, energy work, and a healing space full of love and light. always, reiki engineers the perfect experience for us, so that we feel held up and supported in our interactions together. (smile)

I look forward to connecting with you soon...happy healing!

namaste,
anna
